We’re back with another round of exciting updates for the month of March!
This month, we’re introducing new features to enhance your itinerary customization, improve payment flexibility, and optimize site performance.
Let’s dig in to find out what’s new!
What’s New in Tripcart?
1. New Feature – Altitude Chart
Planning trips that involve varying elevations? Our new Altitude Chart feature visually represents altitude changes throughout the journey.

This feature will help your clients prepare better for their adventures, including preparing the right gear if needed.
How to enable it: Go to Apps > Tools, toggle on Altitude Chart, and select Configure.

2. New Feature – Notice Bar
Need to promote a limited-time deal or share urgent travel information?
This month, we’re introducing a customizable Notice Bar. It lets you display key messages at the top of your site, ensuring visitors never miss important updates.
How to enable it: Go to Apps > Tools, toggle on Notice Bar, and select Configure.

3. New Feature – Itinerary Info
Your itinerary just got even more detailed! With Itinerary Info, you can add extra information to each day or activity of the itinerary.

This feature helps answer common questions upfront, reduce back-and-forth inquiries, and make booking smoother.
How to enable it: Go to Apps > Tools, toggle on Itinerary Info, and select Configure.

4. New Feature – Discounts for Full Payments
Encourage more travelers to pay in full by offering exclusive discounts!
You can now offer an exclusive discount for travelers who opt for full payment at the time of booking. This reduces the hassle of payment follow-ups and improves your cash flow.
How to enable it: Go to Tour Settings > Deposit Payment and set up your discount offer.

5. New Feature – Multi-Package
Not all travelers have the same budget, preferences, or needs, so we’ve introduced Multi-Package pricing options.
You can now create different versions of the same trip, offering variations in accommodation, activities, and pricing tiers.

This flexibility makes your trips more appealing to a wider audience, from budget-conscious backpackers to luxury-seeking travelers. More options mean higher chances of conversion!
6. New Feature – Import Pages, Posts, and Tours
We’ve made it easier for you to migrate content by importing pages and posts from any WordPress website and websites created using WP Travel Engine.

This feature helps you transition smoothly to Tripcart and save time by transferring content without manual copying.

7. Faster Website Speed
No one likes a slow-loading website. We’ve made important improvements to enhance the speed and performance of your trip pages.
Here’s what we’ve enhanced:
- Delayed custom scripts until user interaction, improving initial load speed.
- Optimized images with width and height attributes for faster rendering.
- Preloaded Vite scripts and CSS to speed up loading.
- Deferred scripts to prevent delays in page rendering.
- Reduced requests on tour detail pages from 57 to 23 for a leaner, faster experience.

A quicker website means a better user experience, lower bounce rates, and more conversions, so travelers can explore your offerings and book their trips without frustration.
We’re constantly improving our page speed and performance to give you the best Tripcart experience.
8. Automatic URL Redirections
Say goodbye to 404 errors! Our Automatic URLs Redirection feature automatically redirects visitors from old links to updated pages.
This feature saves you from manually redirecting links, maintains your SEO rankings, and prevents losing potential customers from broken links.
9. Schema Refinement
We’ve fine-tuned Tripcart’s schema structure to improve how search engines understand and rank your tours.

Better structured data means higher visibility on Google, driving more traffic to your site.
Conclusion
We’re constantly working to improve Tripcart to give you and your customers the best booking experience.
As always, we’d love to hear your feedback, as your insights help us keep improving. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to our support team.
